A TRIBE CALLED CHICAGO

Group Exhibition

July 12th - 28th, 2024

Opening Reception: July 12th, 6-9pm

About the Exhibition:

This celebration marks PACH’s journey as a nonprofit and highlights the talent of Chicago’s diverse artists. Over the years, our exhibitions have showcased work deeply connected to the cultural roots and activism of our community.

The title of this show is inspired by the cofounders’ (Pablo & Teresa) formative experiences in the 90s, their love for Hip Hop (A Tribe Called Quest), and their passion for music and Chicago city life. “A TRIBE CALLED CHICAGO” conveys a message of unity among a people who have been segregated, displaced and colonized. It challenges the notion that artists must stay within certain boundaries, celebrating an inclusive arts community that embraces collaboration, friendships, and partnerships across different sectors.

Join us as we honor the vibrant, interconnected, and resilient spirit of Chicago through this dynamic exhibition.
